Safari West is only an hour from "At the Bay's Edge". Located amongst 400 acres in the heart of the wine country, Safari West is home for over 400 exotic mammals and birds. Safari West is a wildlife preserve where the animals roam free and the whole family can experience these animals in their natural habitat. Tours are offered in an authentic safari vehicle three times a day in the spring and summer months, twice a day during the winter. Take your binoculars and camera and enjoy this incredible experience!

It was an overcast day but everyone was in a festive mood for the 33rd annual Fisherman's Festival....we had a party here "At the Bay's Edge" to watch the parade of boats go by. The fishermen celebrate the opening of salmon season by decorating their boats and then going out to sea for the official blessing of the fleet. The festival ran through the weekend and also included arts, crafts, music, food, and entertainment. Great fun was had by all.
