Just wanted to share this great pictorial video of Petaluma, CA with you. The historic town of Petaluma is just 30 minutes from “At the Bay’s Edge”….and if you’re coming from the South or East, you will probably pass through it on your way out to the coast.
Filled with Victorians, quaint stores, and a whole spectrum of activities year round, there’s something for everyone in the Riverfront Town of Petaluma!
I know I’ve written about the White Pelicans here a lot….and with good reason, they’re so unique and beautiful to watch. I put together a collage of photos that I took and made a video to show you some of my best shots. I love watching them, they’re “dunkers” not divers like the brown pelicans. They glide swiftly across the water, and travel in large flocks, though they separate out to feed in smaller groups of 2-3. Anyway, enjoy the pictures and come see them for yourself!
I just had to order another copy of the Hitchcock classic “The Birds” for one of our rentals….it’s a perennial favorite with our guests and we go through a lot of copies!
