The campground consists of 150 sites with 20 walk-ups.  There are no hook-ups, however there is a dump station, which makes it very convenient.  Doran Beach is the perfect family get-away spot because it is incredibly kid and dog friendly.  Dogs do need to remain on a leash at all times, however they are welcome to play and walk along the beach.  Quiet time ranges from 10 pm until 7 am, which is ideal to take away worries on non-kid friendly parties, etc.

Here’s a picture from the south end of the beach, it’s at a medium tide so we couldn’t walk into the rocks. At lower tides it’s fun to explore all the nooks and crannies. But either way, it’s always beautiful. There are 2 miles of flat beach in a horseshoe shape. It’s very popular because it’s easy to access for surfers, kayakers, kiteflyers, horseback riding, walking, jogging, or just beachcombing.
